Network Marketing Success – Why Your Desperation Could Be Driving Sales Away!

So here’s the setting… It’s getting close to the end of the month, and you’re about $250 bucks behind your personal sales amount to get that bonus, or that commission check. Whatever it is that your company gives you or that you’re about to not get if you don’t make a sell or recruit a prospect!

Suddenly something happens to you that nearly causes everything to get suddenly harder for you. Want to know what that thing is? Of course you do…

You Get DESPERATE!

Oh my, you start panicking and thinking of every way under the sun that you can convince people to just buy or join your network marketing company. You even start considering whether or not it would be worth it to just buy somebody in so that you can reach that amount.

But here’s what happens… as soon as you let that desperation take over your clear and logical network marketing thinking and professionalism, you begin to repel prospects rather than attract them. Your prospects can smell your desperation – especially if you’re offering to pay people’s way in to your home business opportunity of course.

It might sound like a good idea, but what you’re actually doing is displaying to that person that if they join, then they’re going to have to start paying people’s way in to the opportunity, and well…most people don’t join a home business opportunity so that they can pay…they join it so that they can make money. Makes sense right?

You’re also repelling this person by displaying that it’s hard to sell the business opportunity – as well as the products – in order to make your monthly commission.

Listen, your prospects are nothing but skeptical already. They already doubt your opportunity, they doubt themselves, and they doubt you. When you show desperation, even if you don’t blatantly tell them what you’re up to and why you need to sign them so fast, they can smell it. They can sense it. It’s an intuition. The B.S. radar if you will!

Network marketing success comes mostly from your posture.

Posture comes from the fact that you take the time to find a network marketing opportunity and product that you believe in so much that there’s really no need for you to be desperate. This means a posture that boldly states through confidence, body language, and tone that you don’t have to worry about any one person joining your network marketing opportunity, because what you have to offer is actually a privilege for people to be apart of.

You gain this posture by doing your homework in the beginning when choosing your business opportunity. You gain this posture by arming yourself with an upline team that has a system for you to tap into so that those moments of desperation don’t need to come. But not only that, but with a system that you’ll be handing down to those that you bring into your business opportunity! (Knowing that you have this to offer raises your level of confidence, which gives you an even more solid posture.)

Network marketing success never comes out of desperation, nor does any success in this world. If and when you are feeling desperate, turn that fear and desperation into a positive energy called motivation, but never lose your posture. Just increase your numbers, and refine your skills, and eventually those lean months will be a thing of the past. You’ll be proud that you never had to compromise your confidence in what you’re offering.
