One of the pieces of network marketing advice that I give quite often around this time is for setting goals.
Many people set goals of course when it starts to get near January 1st. Some call them resolutions, but if you’ve been in this business for any amount of time you know that setting goals yearly is just something that you need to do.
But the problem is that a lot of people tend to set goals, but they forget two very vital steps for reaching those goals.
Network Marketing Advice That Will Help You Reach Many More of Your Goals
So first of all you need to realize that simply setting a goal is not enough.
You must of course set very specific goals of course.
For instance, not just “I want to make more money this year”, but “I want to make $3000, $10,000, $25,000, or even $100,000 per month.” Or per year, it’s up to you how big your goals are, and only you know by figuring out where you’re sitting right now as far as income goes. So of all the network marketing advice to get right in the beginning is the fact that your goals must be laser specific.
But again, this still leaves us with just goals…and just goals isn’t NEARLY enough!
You also need to write down…
How You Plan to Achieve Those Goals
Without having a plan to achieve your goals, they’re simply not going to get any further than just dreams on a paper. You’ve got to write down specifically what you’re going to do to get those goals off the ground. To get them off the paper, and breathing life into them…within your own life.
Most people will write down their goals and that’s the end of it.
While it is better than nothing to have them at least written down, unfortunately it’s not nearly enough. You’ve got to create a plan to achieve those goals.
So if you want to start earning $3000 per month, what are you going to have to do to achieve that money each month? How many people will you have to talk to about your business. Out of those people how many will have to join up with you? What will they have to achieve in order to help you achieve your goal even faster? How will you train them to do that?
Of what you’re doing now (if anything)… what’s working and what’s not working?
This is one part of the network marketing advice that I’m giving each and every year, trying to get people to understand what they need to be doing to achieve their goals.

Network Marketing Advice for Creating a Schedule for Following Your Plan…and Then Following It
Most people get through the first part of writing down goals, some people get through the second part of creating a plan to achieve the goals that they’ve written down, but very few people get through the part of creating a schedule…and even less actually follow that schedule.
The greatest part for you about this network marketing advice is that if you simply figure out a schedule that will allow you to take the necessary steps for getting closer to your goals, and follow that schedule, you’ll be well ahead of 99% of your competition out there who are just sort of flubbing around, willy-nilly toward their goals.
You’ll have an action plan and you’ll be following it daily in order to reach that. That’s powerful stuff, and that’s network marketing advice that you should definitely follow in 2012.
