How many times have you wondered to yourself if there was more to life than what you’ve got going now? I’m guessing probably pretty often since you’ve stumbled upon this blog posting.
How many times have you had a legitimate answer to that question? I mean, do you really know what you want in life or are you wandering around just going through the motions, getting to the end of the work day so that you can get home to your couch and television.

So what characteristics does a good business opportunity possess? Well first of all, you should be able to be proud of what you’re selling. You need a product that you can stand behind 100% because if you can’t, the people whom you’re trying to market to will see directly through you in a matter of seconds. So that’s crucial…believe in your product!
Let me interrupt that for second though. When I say product you’re probably thinking of something that you’ll have to sell, and feeling like running to turn the other way. Here’s the truth, you need to sell something in order to make money. That’s just the bottom line and that’s never going to change so you may want to come to grips with that fact.
The other thing that’s important to get through to you is that you should probably, if you don’t have your own product to market (which most people don’t!) is to sell a product manufactured by someone else.
One of the greatest systems of marketing what are usually genuinely superior products is through network marketing or MLM (which is the same thing). Network marketing is a marketing system that gives you the best chance of a continuous monthly residual income because you actually get to leverage the efforts of other people.
Now leveraging is much different than scamming people to do your work for you. You’ll have to do work in a business opportunity that utilizes network marketing as its marketing/sales frame. You have to do something crucially important in fact. You’ll get to leverage the efforts of other people that you introduce to the business; however you first MUST train these people to become successful themselves.
Then, and only then will there be any chance of leveraging anyone, and the fact that you’re training others to succeed as you are succeeding will be the reason that you’re fairly receiving commissions off of their efforts. Some give this the negative term and connotation of being a “pyramid scheme”. The difference is that with Network Marketing you’ve got a product and you’re running a legitimate business with a business model where everyone has the ability to succeed.
With a pyramid scheme (which is highly illegal) the only people that succeed are the people at the top because a) there’s no actual product to sell and b) there’s no training for success.
This leads to the next and most fundamental element to succeeding in a business opportunity. You must choose wisely to work with people that are successful, have a system that you can use to achieve success as well, and are willing to train you to achieve that success. Train you diligently that is!
So there lies the beauty of MLM. The person training you is giving you the tools to succeed and make a living working from home and eventually becoming financially free. In return, as you begin to succeed they will get a small commission from that success since they’ve given you the needed skills in the first place. As you pass these skills down, you also will receive commissions from those people, or what’s known as your downline.
These are the fundamentals of network marketing (MLM) and probably will be your best chance at succeeding in a business opportunity because it’s such a tremendous system…if you’re willing to work and find the right company that is.
