As a home business owner you’re always looking for new ways of getting visitors to your website. It’s not always easy. Website traffic seems to be the evasive thing that we’re all constantly after.

We’ve talked about quite a few ways of getting traffic on this site, and honestly I know that a lot of it focuses on article writing.

There’s a reason for that… it’s because it works.

But there are other ways and one of those ways that works very well for a couple of different reasons is Blog Commenting!

Blog commenting is nothing new, and you’ve probably heard about it before but you may have passed I up as being anything viable for your home business. Well it may be time to rethink it.

3 Reasons to Start Blog Commenting for your Home Business…

1)The Obvious Link… Ok this is the one the reason that you’ve probably heard over and over again. If you comment on other people’s blogs, you’ll be able to get a link back to your site, especially if it’s a “do follow” site. That’s true and it is very powerful.

The best way to take advantage of this is to go for the high Page Rank one’s first. Why not!?! If what you’re trying to do is get link juice, might as well make it count. Go to Google, type in your niche “MLM training” or “health products” whatever it is. Then go to the top of the page where there’s a blue link for
“more”…and click on “Blogs”.

Once there you’ll see a list of blogs that are listed. Sort these blogs by Page Rank and the one’s with the highest page rank, go find some posts that you can make a comment on.

Usually when you make a comment, there’ll be a place for name. That will be the anchor text for your link so you can either use your real name (branding YOU) or use a word that you want to rank for (MLM Training)…the latter makes it more likely that your comment won’t be accepted by the blog owner, but it’s a numbers game.

2)Direct Traffic to Your Home Business Website… If you’re posting your blog comments on sites that are getting pretty good traffic, you’ll likely get some traffic directly from your comment itself.

The way to take the most advantage of this is to leave really good and valuable comments. Read the posts and really add to the comments. You can disagree, but if you do, make sure you have a good point. With any luck you’ll get into a discussion with the blog owner and therefore get the chance to go back and forth, giving people even more reason to visit your site. This leads to…

3) Credibility for further Opportunities… When you’re leaving good valuable information you’re showing people that you know what the heck you’re talking about. This makes people want to know more about you and therefore they’ll click over to yourhome business site.

But not only that, but it may get you noticed by the blog owner themselves. They may eventually approach you to write a guest post on their blog, or it will at the very least give you a chance to ask if you can do that, and having that reputation will lead them to trust you with their readers.

So there you go…

If you’re looking for a new way to drive targeted traffic to yourhome business website, blog commenting should be something that you add to your daily activities.

In just an hours time you could be adding 3 to 5 comments to other peoples blogs, giving between 15 to 25 opportunities per week for new high quality links, more chances for direct targeted traffic, as well as connections to take your home business to levels that you may have never even thought of.

Alrighty, go ahead and start here by leaving a comment below about this post. Let me know what you think, argue, whatever you like. Just don’t SPAM! Ever! Here or otherwise.

And as always, I appreciate a Retweet out to your followers and they’ll appreciate it as well!
