If so then it’s very likely that you’re not doing the one thing that’s most necessary to make that happen.

I’ll get back to that in one moment. First I want you to do something. I want you to think about what it was that made you partner up with your upline sponsor. What was it about that person that made you really want to work with them?

If you’re like most people, and I realize it may not always be the case, but it’s probably the fact that they gave you some sort of value before you joined.

What that was I don’t know. Maybe they made you feel like they knew what they were talking about. Maybe they explained the business to you in a way that you really understood it. It could have been that they were very knowledgeable about the products and helped you get some sort of result with them.

It could even have been that they gave you a FREE report that they didn’t even write themselves, that made you understand the industry and made it seem like it was going to be easy to make money with your network marketing business.

In either case, the common denominator is that they gave you some sort of feeling that you got something of value. That’s what drew you to them whether it was genuine or not.

Well what if you could do the same for your prospects, only in a genuine manner…and actually gave so much value that they couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. How much better do you think that your prospecting would be?

I’ll tell you right now, it would be amazing.

So how do you do this?

Well the easiest way in the world to give value is probably one of the biggest secrets to Ann and my success in network marketing. I’ve talked about it before, but it’s worth reiterating. Know what it is?

It’s simply CARING about your prospects and letting them know that you care.

Of course just saying “I care about you” isn’t going to do it. You have to prove it to them over and over. Now if you’re doing this in person, with the “old fashion” network marketing principals there’s a lot of things that you can do.

First off you can show them respect. You know, actually respecting their time and their feelings. This means showing up on time, and showing up when you say you will. This also means that you’re LISTENING TO THEM. Yes. Listening is crucial. You have to listen to what they truly want, and are looking to gain from a work from home business. You have to figure out what’s important to them, and make it your goal to help them get that. Following up and being thorough.

It’s sort of like dating. You have to make your date feel like they’re the most important person in the world. They need to feel like they’re the only person in the room…or in your prospect pool that is. You have to be there when they need you, when they have questions, and when something important is about to happen to them.

The next thing you have to try to do is deliver results in advance. Let them taste the success that they might find once they partner up with you.

If you can do these things, then you’ll have a prospect that refuses to work with anyone else in network marketing but you!

That something is to be a great network marketing sponsor for your downline.

So often these days, with the internet coming into play, network marketers are trying so hard to be hands off sponsors rather than becoming real life mentors who get on the phone and supply great value through email.

I’m telling you right now that you’re doing yourself and your downline a huge disservice by doing that. Why? Because neither you or them are getting the full potential to grow your network marketing home business.

Being a network marketing sponsor carries a responsibility with it.

I wish that when you got into this MLM industry they made you sign a contract to be a great sponsor and be there for your downline. It should be required, and you should basically pretend that it is.

So How Do You Become a Great Network Marketing Sponsor?

Here are 2 ways you can start right now:

1) Simply Be There for Your Team… Your downline is looking up to you. They need answers and they’re looking to you to be guide them.

Be there to guide them and help them get started. Be there to help them get their first 3 sign ups, and then be there to help them help those 3 sign ups to get started. Once you’ve done that you’ve given them a road to success to follow, and you’ve helped them learn to walk so that they can now start running.

2) Give Them a Proven System… Network marketing is a business of systems and that’s why it works so well. Systems let your downline come right in and start running their network marketing business right away. This means that they don’t come in floundering around and not knowing exactly what to do.

Being a network marketer means that you’ve decided to embrace the beauty of this industry. Embracing that means you’ve chosen an industry where “networking” is the way of the business.

Have you embraced that? If not then you will likely not succeed in this industry to be totally blunt with you. The reason for that is that you can’t succeed in this business if your downline doesn’t succeed.

This is a business of leverage. Leverage means that you’re leveraging off the efforts of not just yourself and the work you did weeks, months, or even years ago, but also the work your downline is doing.

Therefore the give and take must be there. You must allow them to leverage off of your experience, and therefore you will leverage off of their activity. That’s what makes your network marketing business have more potential than any other out there in the world.

Go and be a GREAT network marketing sponsor starting today and from here on out.

You could even probably write an email with a cool enough subject line to get your 16 year old niece to click on your email first… before the one from Facebook saying that someone commented on her status about her listening to Lady Gaga, while talking on the phone and painting her toenails. If you can beat that email then you’ve got the world at your feet…

So now what’s next?

Well the whole darned reason that you’re sending your prospects an email is to get them to click on your links in your email and over to your network marketing opportunity page. That’s all it’s about.

Of course if you hammer away at this day after day they’re basically going to give you a rude gester and click that little unsubscribe link at the bottom of your emails, so you have to go about things gingerly.

Well not too gingerly…you want to make them a little aware of the fact that you’re not just emailing them because you’ve got nothing better to do. But basically don’t annoy the heck out of them, pestering them to click a link like your little brother who pestered you to let him borrow your Van Halen albums in the early 80’s.

So have some tact…

I think I mentioned this before but it’s worth mentioning again (I’ve been saying that a lot lately haven’t I?) you have to give value to your subscribers.

If they feel like they’ve gotten something from you then they’ll already be more inclined to click on your links… just to get your expert opinion on the subjet of network marketing or whatever it is that you’re talking about.

Make the Link Easy to Find…

Have you ever seen those emails where they try so hard to conceal that they’re trying to sell you something that they make the link nearly impossible to find. Don’t be that person.

You should be loud and proud about the fact that you have a kick booty home business opportunity
to share with your reader. You’re helping them out. You’re giving them value, and you’re displaying already in your emails that you have a lot more value where that came from…

So don’t ever try to sheepishly hide your links.

In fact here’s the new rule that you should use….

Put your links in your emails at least 3 times…with one being as close to the top as possible. Why do that? Well what if they don’t read much of your message. What if they’re in a hurry but want to see what you’re talking about really quick before their boss comes back from lunch and catches them sneaking a peak at their personal email account, or checking their Facebook status.
Give them plenty of chances to click your link.

One at the top, one at the bottom, and one in the middle. Not necessarily in that order

Tell Them What To Do…

People are used to following directions. In fact they like direction. People would rather be told what to do rather than have to work and try to figure it out on their own. So tell them to click your link…

•	“Click the Link Below”
•	“Click Here Now ==>”

Whatever gets the job done. You can test to see which is best for your readers. But just tell them.

Give Them a Reason to Click…

Remember when we were talking about subject lines and we said that curiosity and benefits work best for increasing your open rate. Well the same goes for links that you want someone to click. Give them a reason to click.

•	“Click the link below to get 5 Free Traffic Strategies”
•	“Click the link to get a totally, no strings attached sample of our new product Agel FLEX”
•	“Click here to see the crazy shirt my wife picked out for me to shoot the video I made you”

You get the point.

Just remember don’t try any Tom Foolery stuff. If they click the link and it’s not what you said it would be, they’re long memory function will kick in and you’ll be permanently black balled from their email box,or at least their click to open trigger.

Alright so you now know how to get the click in your emails.

But what will you do with this information? Just sit on it and never use it? I hope that you’re not that kind of reader of mine. I hope that you’ll go start using this information right now, and come back and leave comments about your results.

Shoot this out to your Twitter peeps and help them with their email marketing as well.

Your network marketing business will flourish if you help enough people.

A lot of network marketers therefore want to see their downline growing by leaps and bounds within a week or two. They want to see the big residual checks coming in the first month, when they haven’t even put in enough time to get a residual anything…

I often get frustrated network marketers…some in my downline, some not…coming up to me telling me that they’re business isn’t growing the way it’s supposed to be, or the way they want it to be.

But after a few questions I realize what the problem is right off the bat because I’ve seen it hundreds of times. The good part is that often times once I spot this problem with those in my own downline and we do the work to fix it, we see some really great results in a couple months time.

So what’s the problem?

The problem is that most network marketers aren’t doing the work that needs to be done on a CONSISTENT basis.

You see, to see success in network marketing there are only a few foundational things that it takes to be done daily on a consistent basis. The problem is that most people try like heck to over-complicate this business and make it much harder than it is. They add dozens of unnecessary steps to their marketing efforts, until they’ve got so many that there’s not enough time in one day to do them all..

It’s very much like martial arts. You’ve probably heard of Bruce Lee. Most people think of Bruce as just a movie star from the 70’s but what they don’t know is that Bruce Lee was actually a huge part of the martial arts world, and actually developed his own style of martial arts called Jeet Kune Do.

Well the basis of Jeet Kune Do is simplicity. Bruce knew that all of the showy kicks and spins of traditional kung fu and karate were useless. But he knew that the foundational moves of these styles were very useful when it came to actually fighting.

Bruce believed that minimal movement, but making those moves count, without all of the showmanship would win a fight every time over all the fancy dancy stuff, and so developed his style using many of the foundational moves of the various types of martial arts. He proved his theory over and over by challenging anybody who thought that there art was better than his.

So what does martial arts have to do with Network Marketing?

A lot actually. You see the greatest martial artists are the ones who constantly and consistently practice and perfect the few foundation principals. Each and every day they might do the same 4 or 5 punches and kicks for hours at a time, each time perfecting those things.

This is what you need to be doing with your network marketing business. You need to be doing just the few foundational principals of the business, and you need to do them over and over each and every day until you become successful.

The problem is that these things may seem boring to you at first. And when you’re just learning you may not be great at them. But overtime, if you do them each and every single day, these things will eventually become second nature to you and you’ll be able to do them in your sleep. Not only that, you’ll be able to do them so well that you’ll begin to see a huge spike in your results.

It’s the cumulative effect of these things that builds a long standing and solid network marketing business.

Not jumping around from one thing to another, doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

You should sit down and figure out what are the 3 or 4 things that make you the most money in this business. You should prioritize these things, and then write out a sensible schedule that allows you to get these things done each and every day like clockwork, even if you’re only doing this part-time.

If you’re limited on time then throw everything else besides those 3 or 4 things out the window until you start getting more time because of your success.

If you don’t know what to do, then go to your upline sponsor. If they don’t have answers then go to their sponsors until you get to someone who does.

If you still can’t get answers on how to grow your network marketing business then I suggest you visit our site that will help you with the foundational steps by clicking here.

You can probably see that from the emails that get sent to your inbox.

Or worse, you may be able to see that from your open and click thru rates from your own emails that you’re sending out. (BTW if your auto-responder company doesn’t let you see that information then you really need to find one that does. Aweber is probably the best and what I use.)

In this post I’m going to focus on getting your emails opened.

Why am I starting here? It’s simple. Because no matter how amazing your email message is, it’s not going to mean anything unless your email gets opened right? Nobody will ever see how greatly crafted it is unless they first open the message.

And nobody is going to open a message unless there’s what? That’s right…a great and enticing SUBJECT LINE!

Subject lines are the key to getting your email messages opened.

What Makes a Good Subject Line?

Before I answer that question, I want to ask you…what makes you open the emails that are in your inbox.

I want to digress a little here…the number one thing that gets someone to open an email message is whether or not they know and like the person sending them the email. If they don’t know you, don’t remember you, or can’t stand you…then they’re probably not going to open your emails. Period.

So the thing that you want to do is obvious…let them get to know you, have them anticipate the emails arrival, and basically become a perceived trusted friend.

I’ll get into more about how to do that in Part 2…but for now back to…

Subject Lines!

A good subject line needs to evoke curiosity first and foremost. You have to figure your inbox to be like the game show “The Price Is Right”. Each email subject line is like a door that they can’t see behind. So what’s going to make someone want to open your door instead of all of the others in front of them.

That’s right… only the subject line. So your subject line must evoke curiosity so much that they can’t help themselves but find out “what’s behind door number 2 Bob?”

Good curiosity subject lines can be:

A question: “Are you making this mistake?”
A bold statement: “Here’s how I can swear on the Bible that you’ll succeed”
One word: “Revenge”
A made-ya-look: “Don’t laugh at my shirt in this training video”

You see what those headlines do? They make you need to know what the heck the sender is talking about.

The one thing that you should never do in a subject line is mislead. Misleading is when you talk about one thing in the subject line just to make someone open, when the message is not even about that at all.

People who open misleading headlines have a long memory, and won’t soon forget that you tricked them once before when you send your next email out.

The Importance of Benefits…

The reason any of us open an email is because we want to know what’s in it for us. Even if it’s a personal email, we will open them according to the benefit that there might be for us.

Let’s face it would you open an email from your best friend that says “workout” in the subject, or from someone of that you’ve had your eye on for a while that says “date?”…

See where the “what’s in it for me” part comes?

So you always want to lay the benefit out boldly in a headline…

“How to lose your thanksgiving weight fast” is a benefit. Who doesn’t want to lose weight.

“Get your bills paid easy this month”. The benefit is the ease of mind that you have when your bills are paid.

Here’s a headline that uses both curiosity and a benefit…
“OMG 45,000 visitors for just .07 cents?”

Who doesn’t want 45,000 visitors to their website, and who doesn’t want to get them so cheap?

Getting your messages opened is the hardest part of the battle. You should work ten times as hard on getting this accomplished as you do on any other part of the process. Once it’s opened then the person is already interested in what you have to say if you’re relevant.

Your best chance at getting good at this is a) Practice coming up with new subject lines…
b) Study the subject lines in your inbox. Get on a lot of marketers lists and see which ones catch your eye c) Study headlines…write them down, keep a swipe file etc.

The better you get at this the more success you’ll have in network marketing by the simple numbers alone.

The next post on this subject will be about how to get people to click the links in your emails. If you like this post please Re-Tweet it to your followers, and please leave a comment if you like it or hate it.

So you’ve been working your butt off trying to figure out an angle to get more leads and prospects, and to figure out how to convert those leads into members of your network marketing opportunity.

Well there’s a good chance that if you’ve been trying and it’s not working out for you that you’re missing the one hot button of nearly all prospects. Want to know what that is?

Of course you do, who doesn’t.

The number one hot button is simple. It’s HOPE! People hoping for something better in their lives; hoping for a way out; hoping for a solution! In case you missed it, a big election was just won on that message (although there’s seems to be a lot of buyers remorse).

Now the problem is that a lot of marketers have known about this hot button for a long time. In fact the greatest marketers know about it and use it, but use it correctly. There are also a lot of people who want to be great, but use the message of hope completely wrong.

The ones that use it correctly without creating buyers remorse are the ones that offer hope, and actually supply a result. In other words you hit the hot button of hope that you know everyone seeks, but you follow that up with a result that a person achieves to add instant credibility.

For instance if you read through posts at this blog; my other blog www.MLMWhisperer.com; read any of the articles at www.AnnandDavidFeinstein.com; or sign up for our newsletters – you’ll see immediately that we give you tons and tons of free but highly valuable information on how to achieve success as a network marketer, tapping into our 24 years of experience in the industry.

This is all information that you could literally use to create a six figure business, without paying us a dime. We offer a result for you right up front, in more ways than one.

Of course we use hope as a marketing tool, and if you go check out our business opportunity at http://www.BuildingDynamicFutures.com you’ll see that clearly. But we immediately offer value to you by giving you 2 free gifts.

If someone goes on to join our opportunity with us, we hand feed them a proven network marketing system. It’s the same network marketing system that’s gone on to create literally thousands of financially free members of our organization around the globe.

Hope is a universal need and desire. If you’re human you need to have hope, or else basically depression sinks in.

It’s your job to…how do I say this…take advantage of this human need and emotion…without taking advantage of the person – the actual human being – behind that emotion.

You need to be ethical in everything you do, and provide true value and solutions to people’s problem. If you don’t actually have a solution yourself, then either find one or create one. Never pretend you have a solution if you don’t.

You can also always borrow the solution. A lot of network marketers hit that “Catch 22” that they can’t get people to join them until they’re successful first. But the truth is that you can borrow your upline’s success, and use their experience. That’s how you leverage your upline. And then you can use the same message of hope, and actually have a solution to it in order to build your network marketing business right from the beginning.

Hope + Results = True Wealth!

There’s a really important question that you need to ask yourself right now when it comes to your network marketing business.

The question is this…are you using the network marketing skills that you’ve been taught, or are you merely just collecting skills?

You see if you’re just a collector of skills that you’re not utilizing then all you’ll ever be is a poor, but very knowledgeable network marketer. And believe me, you won’t be the only one. It’ happens a lot.

People get addicted to learning about new skills but never go on to utilize them because they’re too busy learning about the next new thing.

I’ve seen people who will spend thousands of dollars on trainings and as soon as they go through the trainings, that’s it – they’re done! The training material ends up in a closet or on a hard drive never to be gone through again. The person gets nowhere from this.

Then the next thing you know they’re off to find new network marketing skills that they’re not going to use. It’s a vicious cycle that you don’t want to get caught up in, and if you’re caught up in it already, then you need to really stop it now!

Here’s the deal…it only takes a couple of skills to get you to the success that you’re looking for. And the skills that you need are basic foundational skills that will take you further than you’ve ever thought possible.

These are the skills that we teach our downline right off the bat. It’s what makes up a huge part of our system. Of course over time (2 decades plus now) we’ve been able to perfect these skills and tweak them so that everytime we use them they’re more effective in almost every instance.

That’s the importance of having a system that works. Then the next step is to take that system and tweak it until it converts better and better each and everytime.

But… and this is a huge but…you have to start using the network marketing skills that you’re learning or else you’ll never be able to create a system with them.

Now there may be the problem that you’ve gotten yourself into an organization where your upline doesn’t really understand network marketing from a professional point of view.

They don’t understand that as with any business, from McDonald’s to Microsoft, there’s a way in which things have to work in order for the company to make money. The secret that most people don’t understand is that it’s usually the most basic of skills that make up the system that makes it so effective.

Keeping with the McDonald’s example…there’s not much to making a hamburger. It’s a very basic skill…so much so that McDonald’s is able to hire 15 year old high school students and make it work. But the simple act of making hamburgers, the same way over and over again, has made them one of the most successful companies in the world.

Network marketing is no different. Ann and I have built two of the biggest organizations in the industry, the latest of which with our current network marketing company. This downline is still growing by leaps and bounds, and has spread around the globe in record pace. But guess what.

We don’t use any fancy skills that should cost you thousands of dollars to learn. We use the basic foundational skills of network marketing with a few tweaks here and there. We’ve created a proven system out of those skills, and teach our downline to use them the same way.

The fact is… if you know the basics of network marketing but aren’t seeing success, then it’s because you’re simply just not using those basic skills.

Here’s a challenge… Dedicate 30 days to actually USING the basic skills of network marketing that your upline has furnished you, and just see if you don’t start seeing growth in your business.

If your organization doesn’t teach these skills, and you want proven mentors to teach you these skills in a proven system, then simply click here now!

So here’s the setting… It’s getting close to the end of the month, and you’re about $250 bucks behind your personal sales amount to get that bonus, or that commission check. Whatever it is that your company gives you or that you’re about to not get if you don’t make a sell or recruit a prospect!

Suddenly something happens to you that nearly causes everything to get suddenly harder for you. Want to know what that thing is? Of course you do…

You Get DESPERATE!

Oh my, you start panicking and thinking of every way under the sun that you can convince people to just buy or join your network marketing company. You even start considering whether or not it would be worth it to just buy somebody in so that you can reach that amount.

But here’s what happens… as soon as you let that desperation take over your clear and logical network marketing thinking and professionalism, you begin to repel prospects rather than attract them. Your prospects can smell your desperation – especially if you’re offering to pay people’s way in to your home business opportunity of course.

It might sound like a good idea, but what you’re actually doing is displaying to that person that if they join, then they’re going to have to start paying people’s way in to the opportunity, and well…most people don’t join a home business opportunity so that they can pay…they join it so that they can make money. Makes sense right?

You’re also repelling this person by displaying that it’s hard to sell the business opportunity – as well as the products – in order to make your monthly commission.

Listen, your prospects are nothing but skeptical already. They already doubt your opportunity, they doubt themselves, and they doubt you. When you show desperation, even if you don’t blatantly tell them what you’re up to and why you need to sign them so fast, they can smell it. They can sense it. It’s an intuition. The B.S. radar if you will!

Network marketing success comes mostly from your posture.

Posture comes from the fact that you take the time to find a network marketing opportunity and product that you believe in so much that there’s really no need for you to be desperate. This means a posture that boldly states through confidence, body language, and tone that you don’t have to worry about any one person joining your network marketing opportunity, because what you have to offer is actually a privilege for people to be apart of.

You gain this posture by doing your homework in the beginning when choosing your business opportunity. You gain this posture by arming yourself with an upline team that has a system for you to tap into so that those moments of desperation don’t need to come. But not only that, but with a system that you’ll be handing down to those that you bring into your business opportunity! (Knowing that you have this to offer raises your level of confidence, which gives you an even more solid posture.)

Network marketing success never comes out of desperation, nor does any success in this world. If and when you are feeling desperate, turn that fear and desperation into a positive energy called motivation, but never lose your posture. Just increase your numbers, and refine your skills, and eventually those lean months will be a thing of the past. You’ll be proud that you never had to compromise your confidence in what you’re offering.

If you want to team up with network marketing professionals that can give you all the training, tools, and proven system that can give you confidence that nearly sells people on that aspect alone (in other words they’ll be dying to work with you regardless of what opportunity you’re with) then click here now!
