Are you wanting to know exactly how you can improve on your

MLM marketing

in order to grow your downline?

If so you should be proud of yourself. Most people give it what they’ve got and then end it there. They don’t even bother to learn how to do things better, they just do the best they can from what skills they have and then that’s that!

Well that’s not going to do my friend. If you truly want to succeed in this industry, then you’ve got to learn how to ramp up your

MLM marketing

.

How to Ramp Up Your MLM Marketing Effectiveness

MLM is just like any business. It’s about how well you market which will make the difference between success and failure. It’s a game of numbers, and it’s a game of skill.

Those who understand marketing will be the one’s who carry away the trophy. So to help you I want to give you…

3 Ways to Make Your MLM Marketing More Effective In the Future…

1) Understand Your Target Market The basis of any marketing, with MLM marketing being NO EXCEPTION, is understanding who you’re marketing to.

The more able you are to get inside your target audiences mind and emotions, the more you’ll be able to pull them into your MLM marketing lead funnel, and then subsequently into your MLM downline.

So you have to know which hot buttons to hit with your prospects. You have to know what they want, what they’re striving for, and what they need. You want to know what they’re daily life looks like, what’s important to them (and why it’s important), and how you can leverage off that.

This doesn’t mean you have to be sneaky or deceptive either. But imagine you’re trying to talk your friend into going to your favorite restaurant that you love, but they’re just sort of …eh…about going.

Well you’ll probably mention how clean the place is since you know that your friend values cleanliness. Plus you’ll mention how friendly the wait staff is if you know that your friend has a pet peeve of nasty waiters and waitresses. Then you’ll throw in the clincher of how their pancakes were voted best in the state by so and so magazine. Yes, you know their weak spot, and so you went there. But it’s for their own good. LOL

Well your MLM marketing cannot be effective unless you know potential prospects through and through.

And then you need to…

2) Find Out Where Your Target Market Hangs Out

If you don’t know where your prospects are going to be, how in the world are you going to get your message in front of them? You’re not, so you need to find out where they hang out.

For MLM marketing, this usually means finding out what they read, what they watch, what radio stations they listen, or what websites that they frequent. Once you know this you can stick your message right in front of their face.

But for that to work you have to first…

3) Learn to Write Persuasively Now this is critical. The best part however, when it comes to MLM marketing…well any marketing really…is that if you know the things above, then you know already how to persuade these people.

If you know that a great target for you and your MLM Company are busy mothers who don’t have time to work out and/or eat right because they’re always busy with the kids… then you can use that exact information to formulate your ads.

And if you know that money is tough because they did just have a child, and they love talking to other mothers and exchanging fitness ideas, then you know that they’re perfect for your business opportunity. You know therefore that the MLM marketing that you would use would be to explain to them that they’re already in an ideal situation to make more money and grow their business fast.

Effective MLM Marketing Isn’t So Hard Right?

So you can see how just knowing the first two things thoroughly, helps you with formulating the MLM marketing message that becomes persuasive.

Of course there is tons more to it when it comes to MLM marketing, and if you want to learn some great insider information from our 24 years of experience then just click here

So you’ve just joined a network marketing company, and now you’re thinking “now what the heck do I do?”.

If that’s the spot you’re in don’t feel bad, it happens all the time.

It’s part of the steps of joining a business opportunity of any type, but especially a network marketing company.

What to Do When You Join Network Marketing…

Here’s what happens. You get all excited to join, you talk to the sponsor who’s recruiting you, you read about the company, you study all of the finer points of the compensation plan and the bonuses, and then you sign. It’s really a great rush, because it’s the beginning of your new life. Your life has the ability from here on out to change for the better, but it’s of course totally up to you what you do with your network marketing business.

Right now is one of the most important times of your business. What you do in the beginning can set the tone for the rest of your career in the network marketing field. But a lot of people get stuck right in this spot.

Sometimes it’s not the person’s fault, it’s the sponsors fault. It’s your sponsor’s job to get you started in the right direction so that you have the best chance of network marketing success. But some sponsors aren’t really sponsors at all, they’re simply recruiters. Not all but some. If that’s the type you have, then you’ll realize that right away, but no worries because you can still succeed.

But anyways, here are…

The 3 First Steps That You Should Take When Joining a Network Marketing Business…

First…Talk to Your Sponsor and Get Directions from Them! Yes this may sound very logical, but sometimes the most logical of things don’t get done correctly.

The fact is that your sponsor is there to mentor you and get you started the right way. Your sponsor should have a system for you to jump into. Of course depending on who your sponsor is, the business, and the business model that you and your sponsor have chosen, that could mean a variety of things.

For some it could mean creating a list of your friends and family (the warm market) who might be interested. For others it could mean signing you up for their lead buying service (I hope not!). For other’s it could mean getting you started online creating a landing page and getting traffic to that landing page to collect leads online.

But here’s the thing. If your sponsor in network marketing doesn’t help you, then you need to go UPLINE from them. You need to find out who their sponsor is, and who their sponsor is, so on and so forth until you find someone who will help you and train you for successful network marketing.

Second…Get Your Mind Right for Success! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Network Marketing is a business that has self-development at its foundation. There are few businesses like this in the world.

But one thing that it requires is that you’ve got your mind right for success. This can mean reading books that teach you about leadership, motivate you, success stories, and about money and how money affects your life.

These are the fundamentals of network marketing. Setting your mind up for success, and developing the habits of successful people – both within network marketing and outside of it – is crucial.

There will be obstacles that get in your way. Like any endeavor in life, if it were super simple, then everyone would be successful. But it’s those who learn to overcome the obstacles of network marketing, or whatever their goals are, who become successful.

Third…Schedule your Time! So in our experience those who have done the best, and who have had the most success in network marketing are those who have not just taken action…but those who have taken consistent DAILY action.

In other words, it’s not enough to just get amped up and do a bunch of stuff on Monday, and then wait 2 weeks on the following Friday, and then do a bunch more stuff.

No! The way to success in the network marketing business is to take it extremely seriously (like a business…not a hobby), and each and everyday work on your business.

Listen, you know better than I do how much time you have each day to work on your network marketing business. You may only have 1 full hour each day. Well if that’s the case you better make that hour each day count. You better take action that’s going to move you forward, and do it consistently every day.

Want more time, then give up TV for a while, or stay up a half hour later each night and wake up a half hour early each morning. But be consistent every single day, at least 5 days a week, 6 is better!

So there you have it! If you just joined a network marketing company then the first step is to get on the phone with your upline sponsor and ask him what the heck it is that you should be doing…step-by-step. Make sure you understand. Make sure that you can contact your sponsor (email, phone, Skype, instant message) whatever it takes.
If you take the advice I’ve laid out here, your network marketing business has nowhere to go but UP!

So many people are looking for network marketing training these days to find out how to create duplication in their business.

Many people think that the key to duplication in network marketing is to have your downline duplicate YOU. But that’s not exactly true…

What You Need to Get Out Of This Network Marketing Training

The key to duplication that you should get from this network marketing training is that your SYSTEM is duplicable. The truth is that people (myself included though I’m not going to tell anyone that) fail. Human beings aren’t fail proof, but once you have a system set up that is fail proof…or at least converts to certain range… then that system can then be duplicated over and over again.

That’s where having a system and network marketing training practices in place can make or break your network marketing business.

You see, the problem with thinking that YOU and your actions can be duplicated is very apparent just by looking around. Look around at all the people and you can see that each and every person is different. Each has their own talents, and then even two people with the same category of talent has different degrees of talent.

How Network Marketing Training Compares to Fast Food…

So NO person can actually be duplicable. But the steps that a person takes, within a system certainly can. That would be the major reason why McDonald’s can literally thrive while employing 15 year old kids who have never had a job, or done anything but ride their bikes around the neighborhood. They can follow a system, in which the step by step actions are in place for each and every person who does it, and it works every time.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the kid who’s there the first day, or the manager who’s worked at McDonald’s for years. The system is the same, has proven to work, and therefore cannot fail, unless the person fails to work within the system. That’s what should be hugely important your network marketing training.

Many people within their network marketing training will focus on the wrong things. Many will get in with a great sponsor who has had success all around the globe like Ann and I, and expect this alone is enough to ensure success.

Why Your Network Marketing Training Shouldn’t Focus on Trying to Be David Feinstein…

It helps, but only because WE have taken the time to develop systems that are duplicable that work, and instill those within our network marketing training. So trying to be like David Feinstein isn’t going to make you successful in network marketing! Trying to be like Ann Feinstein isn’t going to make you successful in network marketing.

But…following the systems that Ann and David Feinstein have put together in our network marketing training, can make you successful! Following that system step by step is what will make you successful by being in our downline.

Of course it does help that being in our downline allows you access to our mindset and our experience, which helps you to learn the steps and persevere through the steps of learning to duplicate the system through your network marketing training.

It helps that WE created the systems that we use, through utilizing pieces of other systems that have worked for us over the course of 24 years. So having the right sponsors/mentors does help. But that’s not what’s important for you to try to duplicate.

What you should focus on trying to duplicate in your network marketing training, is the systems that you’re learning. What you should make sure is proven to work, within any team that you’re looking to join, is the system within their network marketing training.

If that works, then you’ve got a great chance of seeing success in network marketing.

Having the duplicable systems, plus the right sponsors within your network marketing training, makes your chances of success phenomenal.

So many people today are asking the question…what really was the No Excuses Summit about? Was it just a bunch of crazy internet marketers who promote, sell and hawk their Affiliate Marketing wares? Was it a lot of hype and delivery of zilch? Or was it a real serious experience for those who attended, regardless of what “industry” they were coming from?

See how to get on the priority waiting list

Well the answers to these questions are simply stated by saying that this event, appropriately named the NO EXCUSES SUMMIT was a blending together of business professionals from the Network Marketing (ML) industry and the Internet Marketing industry. Yes you heard right…a “blending” of these two industries/professions that has created what’s now being called the Internet Network Marketing Industry!

Think about this for a moment…this is 2010, the modern day period of the “blazing internet” that probably nearing 86% of the world (no idea where that came from) is “online” at some point during the course of a day…be it on their office computers, home computers or even internet cafes. The internet has become not just a worldwide phenomenon, but a way of being able to communicate through technology across the world. It brings together and expands our global reach…and not just for business, but also for our personal lives as well.

It puts us in touch easily and inexpensively with friends and family who may live at a distance from where we live…even in other countries…it expands our reach and helps to bring each of us closer to others. Just imagine your family member in the US Army serving in Iraq or some other foreign location, or a family member living in Italy…the power of the Internet gives us the capability of global communications…simple and easy and inexpensively! It’s power and capability is almost incomprehensible on so many levels.

But let us not stray from the purpose here…we are talking about the NO EXCUSES SUMMIT that brought together two GLOBAL industries and has now created for those who choose to embrace it, one massive powerful industry…Ladies and Gentlemen welcome the 21st Century’s “INTERNET NETWORK MARKETING INDUSTRY“…truly this is becoming MLM on STEROIDS.

Just think about how the MLM/Network Marketing industry has operated up until the most recent few years. The industry has always been about “people to people” and has primarily been built “belly to belly”….people meeting together to talk about, learn about and get educated about a company, a product line, an opportunity.

Well friends, the bridge has been crossed, the amalgam of those powerful people who support and build their business through ONLINE methods have joined with the more traditional OFFLINE business professionals and today one can build their business within the MLM/Network Marketing industry by applying and using online methods as well as the more traditional people-to-people methods. THIS IS POWERFUL.

The NO EXCUSES SUMMIT was the first time in both industries where Pro’s got together with about 900 attendees to not just educate, enlighten and awaken those attending the event, but the 17 speakers delivered content and Value that truly was beyond anyone’s expectations!

Now I’ll be perfectly honest and tell you that we have built our Network Marketing business primarily “offline” the traditional way…yup you guessed it, the belly-to-belly technique! But over the last 2 years we’ve been educating ourselves and acquiring significant knowledge about the “internet ONLINE” methods that those wild ones from the Internet Marketing world have been talking about.

Today we absolutely use and apply both methodologies to build our Internet Network Marketing business…and attending the NO EXCUSES SUMMIT was for us the culmination and the “coming out party” for this New Industry.

My friends it is without a doubt important to heed some advice here today…the world has changed and will continue to change and evolve …and we as human beings continue to evolve, expand, and broaden our knowledge base and get the opportunity of applying our new knowledge to our everyday activities…and that of course includes how we operate in our business world environment.

Today it is Your Turn if you want it to be…today it is your turn to put away any pre-conceived ideas you may have had about the “internet marketing” industry…today it is your turn to kick up your business not just “a notch” but it’s time to “ramp it up”. The internet has brought the potential of exposing your business to not just a few, not just your city, your state or even your country, but the opportunity of a “global” exposure. Today, that is your universe. TIME to embrace it and get out of your own way and just do it.

Listen, there’s a lot to learn every day of our lives…this amazing event was an eye-opener for so many and since there’s a strong likelihood that you were NOT able to attend the event for one reason or another, I strongly recommend that each of you jump over to get your names on the Priority Waiting list website so that as soon as the DVD sets are available, we can be in touch with you and make sure that you get your own personal copy. While you’re at that website, you’ll be able to read a complete review of the NO EXCUSES SUMMIT event as well as watch a video that we put together for you, which is an overview of what the event was about and what each of the speakers spoke about.

This stuff was totally Empowering to us, and we’re sure it will be you too…we are 100% sure of that.

So don’t delay, jump over to the website and get your name ASAP on this PRIORITY WAITING LIST for your DVD copy of the event…you won’t be sorry you did!

Wishing you success every day…

In a previous article on internet marketing we talked a lot about how you should set your internet marketing foundation, and the mistakes that most people make online that you should do everything to avoid. So you should know that slapping up an ugly website, and hoping people will come is a failing strategy nearly every time.

I also talked about how you should consider your prospective customer or business partner depending on your industry, and why you should carry on less about yourself and really focus on them. Well, this article is going to touch on how you SHOULD use your websites and the internet to brand yourself and your name.

It’s going to show you how to get people to notice you and begin to recognize you as an authority in your industry or niche.

Now, let’s not get confused here. You see, I believe that most people have this intention from the very beginning… and that’s why they do make that first mistake of going on and on about themselves on their websites. But that’s not how you establish yourself as an authority.

Let’s look at it from the reader’s point of view! Actually, let’s look at it from your point of view but from the other side of the coin.

Let’s say you were looking for a person to build you a house on a new piece of property that you’d just bought. Of course you would shop around right for the builder who you thought would do the best job. So let’s say you go to the first person and he starts to tell you how great he is, and how he builds the best houses there are. How everybody loves him, and how if he builds your house that you can’t go wrong. He may even tell you that he’s been building houses for 20 odd years. Wow! Impressive…or is it?

Let’s say the next guy you go to sits you down in his office, and pulls out a large catalog of all of the houses that he’s built for other people. But while he’s showing you these houses he’s telling you all about the process of building homes, and why he did the things that he did to each house to make each structure more solid… to make each window more secure so that you lose less heat in the winter and less cool air in the summer.

If he went through and educated you on all of this stuff, and really laid it out there for you, without ever…not once…saying how great he thought he was…tell me, which guy would you trust and want to work with the most. The guy who talked obsessively about himself, or the guy who showed you why he does things the way he does, and how if he did those same things for you your house would be more secure and you’d save tons of money?

I think we know the answer to that question pretty easily.

You see him as an expert now because he’s shown you he was an expert, not told you so.

On the internet it takes a lot more to get someone to trust you because it’s not a face to face meeting. Therefore, you have to prove in other ways that you’re a real person, and that you’re knowledgeable.

Now just proving that you’re a real person goes a long way in branding yourself as well. That’s why you should always have a picture of yourself on all of your websites…on everything that you do online. You see people are actually very afraid of the anonymity of the internet…because they’ve heard horror story after horror story about people getting ripped off. You probably have too right?

So you need to prove to people right off the bat that you are a real person. The way to do that is with pictures of yourself, videos of yourself (which is really easy to do these days), and even audio of yourself.

You need to have a quick and easy way for people to contact you. Give your phone number, your email address, and even Skype profile if you have it. If not you should get it.

You also need to always remember to educate your prospects and prove to them that you’re an expert, not just tell them that you’re one.

Keeping these things in mind will set you so far apart from your competition that eventually you’ll have to do less work, to get many more customers simply for the trust factor.

If you’re still treating your network marketing product buyers like second class citizens just because they’re not distributors, then it’s time for you to adjust your strategy, because the fact of the matter is that these customers can be worth tons of profits in network marketing leads and referrals.

If you’re still in the mindset that your retail customers are just a happy side accident to your network marketing business, and you’re treating them like second class citizens compared to your downline distributors, then you really should think about what you’re doing.

You need to appreciate these customers fully and completely. The truth is that more than likely the income that earn from them directly will be a pittance compared to the income that they will bring you through referrals…if you do things correctly.

Most network marketers totally avoid and ignore these customers, never mind not having even the slightest clue how to make these customers some of the most important elements of their business. I’m going to show you some unique ways of getting these customers to love you so much that they’ll feel guilty not to send people your way…even if they don’t earn a dime for it.

1. Say Thank You! Now that might sound completely boring, elementary, and basic, but so many people don’t do this, that it’s astounding. Of course, I’m not talking about just calling them up and saying “thank you”, even though that’s a good start. I’m talking about taking the time to send them a thank you note, and better yet a thank you gift.

Simple small gifts can be bought for very cheap. There are companies that sell little knick-knack gifts in bulk for very cheap. Coffee mugs (with your phone name and number, mouse pads, scratch pads, flash lights, etc.)

2. Put them on a Newsletter for **SPECIAL VIP CUSTOMERS**, and send it to them as a physical newsletter. This is a great way to stay in front of these people, and make them remember to re-order each and every month. If you’re just starting out you can do this yourself from home, or if you have a huge downline then you can get a fulfillment company to distribute your newsletter for you. (A great place to start is with the guy the great marketing genius Dan Kennedy uses and recommends at PetethePrinter.com) If it’s good enough for Dan then it should be good enough for you.

Your newsletter is your chance to stand out as the expert. It’s also your chance to become a friend. And with a printed newsletter, rather than an email newsletter, your chances of getting read and not deleted becomes astoundingly better.

Let’s face it, we all love to get personal mail. Since we were kids, getting a comic book, or magazine in the mail is one of those things that we secretly get excited about and anticipate.

3. Send Cards and postcards for each and every occasion that you can get their info for. (Better yet, if you can afford it, send them a small gift certificate for these occasions. A $5 Starbucks gift certificate will go a long way to get your huge amounts of referrals). Every chance you can, you should be thinking of ways to get your retail customers special dates, and sending them out cards and postcards on those days. They will appreciate this, and it will turn on the power of the “Law of Reciprocation”. If you don’t know what this is then you should read “Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion” by Robert Cialdini.

Basically the law says that when you give someone something, or do something for them, then deep in their subconscious they feel indebted to you. What do you want them to do for you? Keep buying, join your opportunity, and send you tons and tons of referrals!

Bonus:

4. Make it easy for them to buy more product, join your opportunity, and send you tons and tons of referrals. You can do this by sending the needed forms for reordering with their ‘thank you’ gifts, newsletters, and cards. You can send them applications and info on becoming a distributor as well. And as far as referrals go, send them pre-written emails to send out, as well as pre-written physical letters and envelopes, so that they only have write the persons name and address on the envelope and send it out.

If you’ll use these techniques you’ll start to see your downline grow faster than you could ever imagine, just from those once pesky distributors.

If you’ve been reading my blog for any time then you may be starting to see a trend. You may be starting to see that I have a bit of a beef with the whole Network Marketing industry via the internet crowd.

Not so much the practice of doing so…one would be a fool not to utilize the greatest reach across the globe that the world has ever seen.

No, my beef is more toward the guys and gals giving the network marketing industry an even worse name online…with their sales pitches of how it doesn’t work, how the old Traditional ways of network marketing are dead, and how the 97% failure rate is because of these ways.

Now, I completely understand marketing…I’ve been doing it for decades…and I understand completely that you have to have an angle to market your products. But the fact is that I feel that these people are being a bit misleading when they tell people that they’re going to help them build huge downlines and see huge success in Network Marketing…when the majority of their money is being made by the affiliate sales that they’re making.

No less misleading is that they don’t tell you that you have to peddle their e-books and products to make money in MLM.

Yes, its good marketing, it’s a good idea, but it’s affecting the way that people are actually succeeding in MLM as a whole… as network marketing is supposed to be.

Therefore Network Marketing may not be right for YOU if what you want to do is market TO the network marketing crowd. If that’s the case then that’s just perfectly fine and I wish you all the best. But, let’s call you what you are…an affiliate marketer.

Network Marketing is not for you if you’re not willing to go out and talk to people about your business. Being a professional network marketer is the same as being a professional anything. If you’re a realtor, you’re not going to do everything you can to avoid talking to people about houses or properties are you?

Of course not! That’s like committing career suicide before you even get started.

If you don’t want to talk to people about your network marketing opportunity or your products…more so…if you’re not willing to become a voice of your opportunity and products, then there’s no need to even get started in the industry. You’ll be wasting your time profoundly.

If you’re not willing to listen and do what the successful people before you have done then again, it’s probably not the industry for you. You’ll probably never become a network marketing professional.

If you don’t want to learn the time tested and proven skills that have built a billion dollar industry, then you’re not a network marketer.

And last, but not even close to least…if you’re not willing to invest both serious time and money into your business, then just save your money and don’t even start it. It’ll be nothing more than a waste for you.

My job with this article was to save you a lot of heartbreak, wasted time, and wasted money…and to give it to you straight.

There’s something that tragically happens to some of the greatest network marketers in the world.

They realize that they’re not in the company with the best network marketing compensation plan and that really ticks them off because they realize that they’re not getting paid what they’re worth.

The problem is that if you’re really good at network marketing, and you lead people to your company like mice to cheese, then you absolutely should be paid handsomely for that.

Now of course you can’t much blame the company, chances are that they laid out the compensation plan before you joined. But what often happens is that someone may be just starting out and in their zealousness will join a company without figuring out if it’s the best compensation plan or not.

Usually a new person has no idea if they’re even going to do well or not with a network marketing business… so frankly many don’t even really think that they’re going to do well enough to get paid the big bucks at all.

Then what happens is that they’ll thrive at it, become an MLM big heavy hitter.

It’s usually at this point that they start really looking around and realizing that they’re crazy to stay with a company that’s not going to raise their commission and give them what they’re worth. Is this your situation? Are you a heavy hitter like Ann and I?

I’m not going to go into any detail, but we know what it’s like to be in that situation. And luckily when we partnered with Agel we finally started getting paid what we were worth.

But the funny thing with Agel was that they weren’t bending over backwards for us because we were what they call heavy hitters. We quickly realized that they bend over backwards for everyone they just have the best network marketing compensation plan.

They’re just the type of company that’s not only fair, but completely believes that those who work hard at growing a home based business should be paid well. They believe in the distributor more so than any other company that I’ve seen in my two decades in this business.

It may be because of the background of the upper echelon in the company who have been involved in network marketing for quite sometime. Many companies have fancy bean counters that don’t give a hoot about the distributors…the ones making it possible for them to count their beans in the first place. Well they don’t give a hoot until people start leaving for companies like Agel in droves, but at that point it’s usually too late.

Finding the best network marketing compensation plan is up to you as a distributor. If you got involved with a company that doesn’t have the best one in the beginning then sure, that’s your fault. But you know that, and now it’s time to take responsibility for yourself and find the company that will pay you what you’re worth…and will pay your downline accordingly.

My wife Ann and I are adamant that the people in our downline, the people that we mentor are treated well and have the best opportunity in the world to create financial wealth for themselves. You likely have those same moral and principals!

You hopefully have that same type of caring for your downline to guide them to a right decision if possibly moving them to a company with a better compensation plan is what you feel is best for them.

If so then you owe it to yourself to do your homework. You owe it to yourself to check out the company that enticed Ann and I to switch companies after 17 years, and allowed us to recreate that same income in only a few years. A large part of that was because after much research we found Agel to have the best network marketing compensation plan!
